Hi guys,
This event is great if you have a lot of patience. Event repeats every month or every 2 month I am not sure. But you get a time to collect Shadow Essence (SE). After last event I decided to save all my SE for next event. I can save without buing SE from shops (only CD and SE for 10k gold and sometimes from Alliance Shop) about near 50k SE. I spend all my SE and from all claimed SE I can easily claim 75k reward and get 17k SE as a bonus.
You have time for upgrading your heroes or change your lineup in this saving time.
You can spend SE on the first day of event cause nothing changes after next day reset.
Spend your SE carefully. If you can have 40-50k its ok, you can spend all SE and Claim all rewards.
If you cant save, think wisely, how much you want to spend for achievement next SE reward, if you can reach it or not.

Backrow killer combo (for free player)
Yuan, Gearz, Little Red, Lufia, Ruby
Explanation:
First, Gearz will knock back enemy's tank then that tank will stay in behind because of Yuan already in backrow attacking.
Then the midrow hero will be exposed and will be attacked by the rest of team.
Gearz, Lufia, and Ruby is infamous hero for their skill that directly attacking backrow with ease.
Little red is for reducing armor and has same 5th equipment as Ruby.
This team is recommended with high level Lightning equipment for Lufia and Gearz. Min +11
Question & Answers:
What rank can you hold with this team ?
- Top 50-70
I think heroes that can break this team are Gearz Yuan or Smoke and Jacob ?
- Smoke is out of question, but i don't think so with Jacob, jacob is so vulnerable with physical team.
About Gearz Yuan, after Yuan disappear, enemy Gearz will be vulnerable and easy to defeat
So the key is gearz + yuan, right?
- Not exactly... the rest of the team complement each other.
What about two tank team enemy? does it work also?
- Not work. Thats why there are Lufia and Ruby. Even the tank didn't push back, they still can attack backrow
In case enemies use totem yuan gonna stuck attacking totem and their tank back to front.
- Even if there is totem, Gerber still attacking Yuan.

Krash Strategy Guide
The brand new hero Krash will be coming out as the Sign In hero next month, so we’d like to give you all some strategy tips. We hope everyone will be able to enjoy this unique (and free) Sign In hero!
1. Hero Role
Krash is a mid row Support hero with a big attack range, long lasting crowd control ultimate, other skills that tend toward single target damage, and he can lower enemy attack speed. Overall, he’s a CC-oriented Support hero.
His other peculiarity is that his passive skill can make teammates immune to knockups, or at least invincible while being knocked airborne, but there’s also a chance this skill will fail, adding to the length of time his teammates are in the air. Because the chance of the former happening is much higher than the latter, he’s still considered a counter to heroes that rely on knockups.
2. Equipment Skill
As a crowd control Support, being able to cast his ultimate early will give his team a huge advantage, so we recommend going with his 7th piece of equipment “Robert's Gauntlet” for its energy regen effect. If your opponent has a lot of AoE skills that can hit your mid row, then you can also consider “Sebastian Shield” to protect his team a little more.
3. Captain Skill
Krash provides disables for his team, so for a captain skill you could consider damage type captain skills. Depending on specific team composition, one could choose the back-row-hitting “Fireball” or the front row “Meteor”, or they could go with the full field AoE damage “Venom Aura”.
4. Team Composition
Krash is a hero that basically synergizes well with anyone, and most of his strategic effectiveness lies in countering enemy heroes that rely on knock up skills, as well as providing good crowd control for his team. But to make up for the fact that he’s a support with fairly low damage dealing capability, it’s still best to pair him up with high-damage heroes.
If the enemy lineup has a hero/heroes with lots of knock up skills, especially if they have a lineup built around Edwin, then putting Krash in your lineup will neutralize them quite effectively. Of course, Krash’s passive skill has a chance of backfiring from time to time, but the vast majority of the time your heroes will be immune to knock ups or invulnerable while in the air. Anyway, we can confirm that no matter which effect is triggered, an enemy Edwin won’t be able to get off his “Magic Control” unless Krash is taken out of the picture.
Because Krash complements pretty much anyone, when setting your lineup you just need to swap out your normal support hero for him and he should work fine.
Below are some real tests battles (within 5% difference in battle power)

Delphos is a mid row magic damage DPS, with fairly high single target damage, strong burst damage, but who is really reliant on the rest of the team. His passive skill deals extra damage when one of his skills hits a target, so obviously he’s a great counter when encountering a solo-tank opposition. His other skills are all skills that damagethe enemy front row, with no mid or back row abilities.

Island Crusade Strategy: Hero Lineups
There’s a total of 10 stages to pass in Island Crusade, and the farther in you go, the better the rewards, but the higher the difficulty. And in the process, your HP won’t regen back to full when you enter the next stage, so the most important thing in this long, drawn-out campaign is getting HP regen!
Because you don’t get an HP boost after passing stages, all your injured heroes will have to lick their own wounds, so you’ve definitely gotta have some healers on your team.
So let’s take a look at what Healer and Regen heroes there are out there:
Tanks: Uther, Shadow Assassin, Saizo, Jacob (strong lifesteal)
Mages: Blaine, Karas
Supports: Muse, Aurai, Murphy

Crystal Dungeon Strategy Guide
The Crystal Dungeon is probably has the least restrictions of all the different mini-games in Magic Rush. It doesn’t cost stamina like Campaign, and it doesn’t not reset your heroes’ health and energy after a battle like in Crusades. As long as you’re over Troop Lv 22, you can go at as much as you want. The equipment and shadow essence you get from here can be used to strengthen your heroes, so when you’ve run out of stamina, you might as well spend your time taking on the Dungeon.
You can choose 10 heroes to fight with, 5 starters and 5 substitutes. VIP players can added in more substitutes depending on how high their VIP level is. You can add one extra substitute hero at VIP 5/7/9/11/13 for a total of 10 substitutes maximum. Each time one of your starters dies in battle, a substitute hero will immediately take his/her place. In one battle you have 5 substitution chances.

Island Crusade Tips
Island Crusade has a total of 10 stages to pass, and the rewards get better as you go along, but the difficulty also increases. Luckily, there’s all kinds of things we can do to help us get through.
1. Just passing all the stages with only one team is no easy feat, so we could use a strategy of training lots of heroes and get through via sheer force of numbers. The tanks take the brunt of the damage in Crusades, so if you don’t have a crack squad of 5 unstoppable heroes, then train a lot of tanks.
2. In the easier early stages, sub in some damager heroes with

Castles + Resources + Wars + Alliances
Tap the “Exit City” button to enter the World Map and open up a whole new way to play.

Every player gets his/her own castle! But that also means you have a responsibility to: 1) Defend (your and allies’ castles) and 2) Attack (castles of your enemies).

On Equipment Selection & Enhancing
As the game stands now, each hero can equip 7 pieces of equipment, among which Blue +1 and above come with their own equipment skills, for a total of 5 equipment skills to choose from. But only one equipment skill can be activated at a given time, so it’s worth examining how to go about choosing the right one.
There’s a bunch of equipment in the game, but I’m mostly going to focus on the ones that have their own skills at Blue +1 and up.

Tower Defense Tips
Tower Defense (TD) is one of the most fun parts of Magic Rush. It’s almost like they perfectly cross-bred two different genres of game, and it really makes adds some variety to the gameplay. I personally am a big fan of TD.
The heroes in TD can basically be divided into two types: melee heroes and ranged heroes. Melee heroes are mostly used to hold up the monsters, and the ranged heroes are used to take them out. Below I’ll discuss some TD strategy in more detail.
1. Tanks are important but limited.
Tanks are important in TD because you need at least one tank in front of your crystal to stop monsters from advancing, but they have some drawbacks:
① Attacks have small AoE.

Awakened Hero Team Composition
As more and more heroes awaken, team compositions will get more varied, and some heroes that we haven’t seen much of recently will get new life breathed into them.
Awakened Heroes:
West: Increased Physical Armor Penetration for Kung Fu heroes.
York: Increases Attack Damage for all Lone Dog heroes.
These two heroes both give pretty big buffs to physical teams, so you can get really high damage output from the following lineup. It’s not necessarily effective in Arena, but for Team Raid you can get great results.

War Guardian Walkthrough
War Guardian consists of Normal, Elite, and Legend difficulty levels, and it refreshes once every 3 days with a random map. You can enter a lineup of 14 heroes for each difficulty level, but at the beginning you can only select 3 of those heroes, so who you choose at the beginning is fairly important. Usually it’ll be 1 Tank + 2 DPS or 1 DPS + 2 Tanks.
First, here are my commonly used heroes:
Tanks: Monk Sun, Pulan, Saizo
DPS: Jolie, York, Pandarus, Coco, Alma
There are still some that wouldn’t be my first choice, but just in case all the heroes above aren’t available, I’d choose from these: Gearz, Zoe, Smoke, Thanos, & Karna.

What Are Legendary Heroes and How Do I Get Them?
The legendary heroes of Magic Rush are obtained from a couple of different areas. The most common place to pick up a legend is the shops. Gerber soulstones can be bought in Abyssal Treasure's shop and Thanos's soulstones can be bought in the Arena's shop. Then we have event only legends that can only be obtained as rewards from events for either getting lucky or spending enough diamonds in them. These heroes are currently Saizo, Robin, and Rams. Note: Any legend can appear in events, and not every event has a legend tied to it.
The third and fourth locations to get legends are tied together. This is where we will focus this guide. They are Soulstone Wish and Soulstone Shop. Soulstone Wish and Soulstone Shop are VIP 8 features that are accessed from the wishing pool.
Once you venture into the wishing pool your screen will look similar to the following. From here we have a few options. We can enter the shop or try our
